01 / OVERVIEW

One test. More opportunities for graduate study.

The GRE General Test measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skills developed over time and relevant to demanding graduate programmes, including business and law.

ETS says GRE General Test scores are accepted at thousands of graduate, business and law schools worldwide. Programme requirements vary, so applicants should verify each target institution’s current policy.

05 / SCORING

Understand your GRE scores.
